A being in flight from outer space came across a satellite in its path and wondered, “Who put it there?” As he approached the satellite, he saw another being who explained to him that Man had put the satellite in orbit. Doubting, he asked, “where then is Man?” The other being told him that Man was on Earth. He told him it was not true because there is no Earth. The other being explained further that he had seen Man come on regular maintenance on the satellite.
They decided to see the inside of the satellite. The being from outer space quickly noticed a dashboard-like piece of equipment with a screen on it. He examined the information on the screen and noticed that it was some kind of situation report. So, he asked the other being, “Who uses this information since Man is not always here?” He replied that Man had told him that he uses a piece of equipment he had invented called computer to monitor events on the satellite from the Earth via the flow of atomic particles across the space. “At this point,” said the being from outer space, “I think you are imagining things; there are no possibilities for any of the things you have claimed.”
As they argued on the matter, the other being sighted a spaceship approaching and exclaimed, “Here comes Man!” The team of engineers on routine maintenance explained to the beings, how, by using sophisticated technology Man had discovered a host of other planets. Then queried the being from outer space, “who then put those other planets there?” A Christian man on the engineering team spoke up: “it is written in the Bible that in the beginning God created the Heavens and the Earth.” Again, the being asked, “So where is God, and does He also have a computer?” The Christian man told him that God is in Heaven and that He controls all of His creation from there, probably from some kind of computer that no one knows yet, neither had anyone seen Him at any time. “He accomplishes all things by the flow of His Spirit,” he added.
“Maybe someday He will come to maintain the Earth,” said the being from outer space. “Surely, the Bible says that He will come to separate the bad from the good people, and to establish His kingdom on Earth to reign forever with those that believed that He is,” retorted the Christian man.
“I believe,” said the being from outer space.
