If you relate with the universe and intend to gain from it, you expose yourself to Bible truth. The reason is because the Bible contains the blueprint of the owner of the universe who functions in oneness with it. All things consist of him. It is copyright abridgement, therefore, to use information contained in the universe and not to acknowledge the Creator. Like the secular court convicts copyright offenders, a day is coming when God will extract justice for copyright offenses against his universe.

The problem is not with the Bible. There is need for one to be alert and informed about the book itself, so we know how to relate with it and the world, especially with individuals who could be unscrupulous in the use of its content. If an issue becomes so pervading, then it may mean it is important and not to be taken for granted. Some have fallen victims to persons who perpetrate evil with the same product that should give them life. Be circumspect! We must give time to read and understand the book for ourselves to be able to know how and when it’s being adulterated by practice or by doctrine.

Sin is with men who would use even what is meant for good for evil. For this reason, the judge presides over the matter in the law court to provide equitable justice. Individuals may stand for themselves before the judge or hire a lawyer. Many times, lawyers are needed because people do not try to read up relevant parts of the law for their case to understand it so they can represent themselves in the court. And some are good at reading up portions of the law and can file for legal processes without a need for an attorney.

In the same vein, we should read the Bible and understand it, so we stand for ourselves when it is called for in the court of world relations. Unfortunately, many today know little here and little there and believe they know enough to be able to engage the world out there. The Bible is a complete book of life in general. Give it attention and you will be able to deal with any issue safely. The deeper you understand its content the freer and humble you become to relate to life.

As noted, sin is the nature of fallen men. Because of sin some misuse the book for gain, but it does not negate the truth it holds. Someone decided to use an airplane as a weapon of destruction, though the one was a passenger plane. The plane was still what it was designed for and could function as such, but someone chose to use it differently. But they were ultimately judged.

Similarly, let’s keep our eyes on using the Word of God as prescribed, and avoid those who may use it contrary to prescription. The day of their judgment draws near! We must however continue to reap full benefits of its provisions and not fail to do so because of evil perpetrators. The passenger plane is still what it is designed for and to do. The Judge is soon to come to judgment!
